One thing to be aware of is publishing rules *can* reduce their effectiveness, as that give spammers something to test and tune against. They do read this list (at least the more-clueful ones do).


Good point, I might just leave them private for now. That might be why there is so little about this online.

Here's a question for you in return: would you be willing to contribute to SA masscheck? The SA masscheck system is often hurting for corpa, and pretty much always has insufficient non-English ham.


I'd be happy to contribute to the SAMC. I had a look at the wiki and it looks fairly trivial to implement. I already have bayes filtering on spam/ham that is handsorted by me. I'll send them an email.
