Folks:

I've been seeing some seemingly pointless spams coming from Yahoo for a couple of weeks now, roughly coinciding with the "single URL" discussion here, but it's not that.

The body is a couple of lines of plain-text bayes poison around a short line of accented-character gibberish, and the subject is a space- and unicode-obfuscated porn pitch.

But there is *NO URL* or other contact information. It just looks like an annoying waste of bandwidth, unless you're supposed to reply with "yes, please!" or something.

Is there some deeper strategy I'm missing here? Or is this truly a porn spam campaign being run by an idiot?
