A couple of questions. If I created 2 IMAP email users, "ham" and "spam",
you don't need to create two users, but two folders. Preferrably shared
folders into which users can copy the mail, but can't see it afterwards (to
avoid user seeing others' mail).
and had users participating by sending their good/bad emails to these, would
it matter if they moved the emails there in Outlook 2010, or would copy be
okay? In Outlook 2010, if you right-click the email and select the "Move"
option, it also has a "Copy to Folder" option. Can we just "copy to Folder"
the good emails to the "ham" IMAP email user?
copy or move would be OK. Users usually want to move their spam (they don't
need it) and copy their ham. Note that in IMAP there's no move, just copy
and delete.
The main point is to avoid
- forwarding mail via outlook
- downloading mail to outlook and copying it back to server
