All valid - from the perspective of explaining the behaviour of an existing system. I realise that the To: line is independent of the envelope... but, for example, in the context of this message "To:" users@spamassassin.apache.org, I get a "Received:" header that mentions that it is "for" the address I used to sign up to this mailing list. Hence why I had expected the envelope address to be reflected somewhere in the headers of the delivered message. In any case, as it turns out, none of this helps me store a single inbound spam once - rather than duplicate it for each address in the envelope... which, to my thinking, remains a sane objective...
