Sorry about that I just simply pressed reply, I expected the reply to have sent my message back to us...@spamassassin.apache.org. So I had to use forward instead.
anyway, I will start to look into it. but before I do, you said something that made me think you might have slightly miss understood my problem. Not all the emails are being marked as spam, None of the emails are being marked at all, but this is only happening with the emails of the users web sites, but for the admin of the server Spamassassion is working perfectly, no problems at all. So I though there might have been a parameter in the conf that needed to be set to tell Spamassassion to start marking a particular users emails since the admins email is working. Maybe I needed to set the parameter of what the text being inserted into the Subject is sapost to be, you know something simple and stupid like that. even though its probably just my wishful thinking. So, do you really think that the version of Spamassassion is still the most likely cause of the problem? again, thanks for all your help, and I hope I'm not asking too many questions. This way, anyone can follow this thread. This is more effective than just me, answering your questions ;) Back to topic: Your SpamAssassin version is >really< outdated, 3.1.9 is more than three years old. This is most likely the cause of all the mails being tagged as spam. To get the latest version, have a look here: http://spamassassin.apache.org/downloads.cgi There may be some kind of package manager in your system, but again, I don't know Blue Quartz. > > > P.S. did you know that our posts are being listed on the Blue Quartz Forum? > see for yourself > http://www.bluequartz.us/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=493378#493378 , I > haven figered this out yet. > Errm...no, pretty interesting :) Daniel ________________________________ ---------------------------------------------------- JAM Software GmbH Gesch?ftsf?hrer: Joachim Marder Max-Planck-Str. 22 * 54296 Trier * Germany Tel: 0651-145 653 -0 * Fax: 0651-145 653 -29 Handelsregister Nr.
