Sounds like you are using amavisd-new. Quarantined mail messages can be either released from a quarantine and delivered to recipients without re-checking for viruses and spam by using a command 'amavisd-release', or fed back to mailer's input side and re-checked for viruses and spam by a 'amavisd-requeue' command. The only difference between the two commands is a MTA port number to which a message is delivered: port 10025 ($release_method), or port 25 ($requeue_method). Mark
