thanks for your response but I've got a further problem now (I think). I'm trying to do the same thing with the ham command# sa-learn --showdots --mbox --ham but nothing's happening. When I did the spam command it showed a progression of dots and ended with a confirmation message of tokens found and 216 emails scanned. But with the ham command there's nothing happening - the cursor just dropped to the next line and it's been there for half an hour now.
