While I agree with all the good info (snipped) above, and pretty much said exactly that myself...

Actually, there are more than this one sa-update mirror for the SARE rules. This is about third-party rule-sets, provided by a source that claimed a while ago that there generally won't be any updates [1] to the rule-sets, unless announced here. OpenProtect just happens to be one of the mirrors to provide that service to the >= 3.1.1 SA users out there. :) They didn't write the rules, and they are not responsible for FP hits *long* after the rules have been validated and updated last time. FWIW, some have been mass-checked last time more than 2 years ago. And some are explicitly labeled not suitable for recent SA versions. Yet, I have spotted those being used in more than one occasion here. That's solely on the discretion of the admins. guenther [1] http://rulesemporium.com/ Now if I just would know which Ninja is busy doing what. ;) -- char *t="\10pse\0r\0dtu...@ghno\x4e\xc8\x79\xf4\xab\x51\x8a\x10\xf4\xf4\xc4"; main(){ char h,m=h=*t++,*x=t+2*h,c,i,l=*x,s=0; for (i=0;i<l;i++){ i%8? c<<=1: (c=*++x); c&128 && (s+=h); if (!(h>>=1)||!t[s+h]){ putchar(t[s]);h=m;s=0; }}}
