That is very similar to saying that a person does not NEED a car - he
could just walk.  Or take the bus or a train.  Or all three combined.

Or ride a bike.


However, the difference from the car analogy is that there's actually quite a bit that does require a car in modern life. There isn't anything that needs an attachment.
