Ironport can make those claims because they work on reputation - which
means that when new SPAM comes out their reputation filters work on it
without having to make any modifications.

This also means that SPAM from bots gets through until their filters
catch up and start building a negative reputation. This results in no
fp's but also let's through a lot of SPAM until it catches up.

They sacrifice fp's for no immediate blocking of new sources of SPAM.

They're used a lot in larger enterprises.

That's all I know...

Hope this helps.

Subject: Iron Port experiences

Has anyone any Iron Port experiences they could share? We appear to be
losing a larger account to Iron Port and am curious regarding their No
FP
claims.
