I've never run amavisd-new in chroot, but may be you'll find some tips here - http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/README.chroot Seems to me like a resolver issue (probably need to configure FreeBSD a little different than OpenBSD). Best Regards,
Well, you should. Everyone should run amavis and the virus engine chroot'ed... :)
