I use a simple blacklist/whitelist in a user_prefs file as I have access to any

Is there a rule/line I can add which will mark as spam any message which has
been
sent to a user which contains a number

ie = blacklist_to *0 - [EMAIL PROTECTED]

We have only 6/7 mail addresses which are "proper" user names but we get an
assortment of generated names which are non existent on our system. I assume
these
cannot be filtered so only known users get "clean" mail and the rest are marked
as
Spam.

Your MTA should be rejecting non existing accounts at the SMTP level. Therefore, the message should never reach SA.
