Just curious, but how many people see spam being sent to usersnames with the fisrt letter dropped? I see a ton in my logs. I believe spammers figure [EMAIL PROTECTED] will also have a [EMAIL PROTECTED] Too bad for them...they do not. :)
Mmmh. I think that they just messed things up with their crawlers, or maybe converting their e-mail databases between formats.
I guess the average spammer has not enough technical skills to "figure out" something, otherwise a lot of our antispam technics would be easily circunvented (think to greylisting, in example). Most of them just get a message and shake it a bit, get an e-mail db, and shake it a bit, get the bulk mailer the use and start spamming.
