mailscanner is not well done for postfix, but works well with sendmail for postfix i recommand to use amavisd-new, with btw olso works ok for sendmail i remember from my time with mailscanner how bad it was until one told me to use amavisd-new, where all changed to the better -- "This message was sent using 100% recycled spam mails."
