Matt, Thanks for your reply: I apologize for not writing more clearly. I'm running Exim4 with Exiscan, so the "**** SPAM ****" prefix is being added to the Subject header by Exim4, not SA. The question is: can sa-learn be taught to ignore specific parts of the subject line, or do I need to filter its input with a separate process? TIA. Bill Horne
