There are more messages in my spam folder(file) than what shows in
evolution. Same goes for almost... Procmail shows its sending emails
there but I don't see them. If I open the file using a text editor I
see the emails but not in evolution. Is something wrong with the rule?

Have you told Evolution that there is a spam folder and where that
folder is? What mail box format is Evolution expecting. Procmail tries
to guess. But sometimes hints help it guess.
