Sure, a good general could do well in a war with old equipment. But just think what he could do with 21st century technology! In the same way, 2.6x can be tuned to work pretty well, but if that same knowledgeable sysadmin tunes 3.1x, he will get even better results. As was mentioned before, anti-spam is like anti-virus. The attacks are constantly changing, so the defenses must also be constantly updated if you want to stay ahead. -- Bowie
