I hope I'm not the first one who has though of this but suppose we created a web site with material to educate the public on how not to get ripped off from spam. The idea being that it is both simple and comprehensive and targeted at educating the public.

The theory being that if the public is smarter then spamming becomes less profitable and we take a chunk of the money out of spammer pockets. If it were done right and got a lot of press ISP's could make it required reading for new customers.

Has anyone done this or anything like it?
