ah, guess i should read closer.. you are using -s /var/log/spamd.log.
if you remove -s /var/log/spamd.log, do you get data showing up in
/var/log/maillog when spamc parses a message?

is your scanner even using spamc??  if not, then thats your issue.
some software will just load the M::SA module and send check()'s against
it that way.
