Our entire servers farm is FreeBSD-based. No complaints there, rock solid. The ports-based critical components like SA, ClamAV, Postfix, amavisd-new are very responsive and gives confidence that such software that needs timely and regular updates like virus scanners and SA (with all its subordinate Perl modules), will get a necessary attention from ports maintainers very rapidly.
