Hmm. OE is actually one of the better clients for retrieving a "true"
copy of the original message that was downloaded via POP3. Aside from
AV scanners like AVG that alter the damn thing in transit. >:(
For OE, Netscape/Mozilla and their descendants, and a few others, you
can just right-click on a message, and click "Forward as attachment".
This is, IMO, the best way to get the original message back from a POP3
user. It also eliminates the unavoidable extra headers added by
"bouncing" or redirecting a message from the mail client.
Mcrosoft Outlook, on the other hand, does NOT support this capability -
at least, not in any consisten manner I've ever found.
