Yes, you should be able to, although on many systems the preferred commands are host and dig. However, when I > attempt this, I always get the same thing in response: "Can't find server > name for address 10.0.0.1" which is our gateway. That sounds like yor resolv.conf is screwed up. Can you nslookup normal sites like www.yahoo.com without that warning?
