Yes, that was how I thought it was, but I couldnt find any such option.
Simply making the link leaves you with no "local.cf" or "init.pre".
Oh, I was unclear about that, I linked *.cf to the
/etc/mail/spamassassin keeping my local.cf, init.pre and sql.cf
