Sigh...yet another email that I sent that went totally ignored by the list.

I'll "bump" this only because I feel it's an important issue, and would like to know if anyone else has tried it/gets the error.

Basically, when I use the spamc config file, neither the options in there, OR the options in the config file are followed. Anyone else experience this problem?

Or should I just open a bug (which I'll do three days from now if nobody else answers).

Hey all...

Recent upgrade to sa 3.1

I've got the same thing in my config file, and my calling line from /etc/procmailrc..

Config File (/etc/mail/spamassassin/spamc.conf):

-l -d quark.gushi.org -S

Procmail:

:0fw
| /usr/local/bin/spamc -l -d quark.gushi.org -S

However, when the config file exists, I start seeing this error in my procmail.log

spamc: connect(AF_INET) to spamd at 127.0.0.1 failed, retrying (#1 of 3): Connection refused spamc: connect(AF_INET) to spamd at 127.0.0.1 failed, retrying (#2 of 3): Connection refused spamc: connect(AF_INET) to spamd at 127.0.0.1 failed, retrying (#3 of 3): Connection refused
spamc: connection attempt to spamd aborted after 3 retries

So apparently the presence of the config file causes NEITHER the options in the config file NOR on the command line to be used.

Should I file this as a bug? Or am I doing something horribly wrong.
