ping always works (14-18ms). telnet to port 80 comes and goes, as does hping to port 80.

P.S. Just reached it again, but all links timed out and telnet began failing
again. Also, I have multiple pipes (though most end up in a single SBC
ATM tunnel for part of the route) and all act the same (I can easily force
a chosen route).
