Yes, something isn't right there.  Normally user rules reside in something
like /etc/mail/spamassassin.  This looks like it is probably the first
directory you quoted, on your system.

I believe that there is another directory that RDJ uses to store the rules
it is downloading, or maybe backup versions of the previous rules.  It can
use this to roll back to the older file in case there is an error in the new
files.  HOwever, I'm not sure that the second directory you mention is that
place.

Also, look to which files RDJ is downloading for you.  Not all SARE files
are correct for every installation.  For instance,
71_sare_redirect_pre3.0.0.cf is not used on 3.0.4 and should not be
installed.
