The issue is that they work like a mailing list provider, that produces negative score.

They are also listed as util_rb_2tld so you can't block them globally, only subdomains of it.

It is possible to write a special rule just for them that doesn't use that mechanism.

I will look at adding an extra condition in that meta-rule.

Looking at original post and my spam log, I'm not even sure if googlegroups.com provides 3rd level domains at all.


I have blocked mail from googlegroups (googlegroups.com and groups.google.com) long ago.
