Some time back I had announced SquirrelSAP which is a SquirrelMail
plugin that allow users to set the basic settings that most of them
would understand. It's on Source Forge and not in the SquirrelMail web
site (they didn't want my plugin and other that are also there). It may
be helpful along with the web site mentioned before. If you decide to
use SquirrelSAP, be sure and use 1.0.5.

I can't find a good clear HOWTO for getting SpamAssassin plugged into
the
mix to allow per-user preferences with the ability for the users to set
their own prefs using something like one of the SquirrelMail plugins. I
would actually prefer using a SEPARATE (not a webmail plugin) web
enabled
method for users to set preferences so those who won't be using
webmail at
all would have easy access to a "point and click" preferences page.
