I run a legacy mail server that does not support SpamAssasin yet. I would like to run my mail through SpamAssassin now though, and was thinking I could change my MX to point to a proxy that has SA installed and then forwards off to my legacy email server.
I assume this is possible. I have been told SA can run as a standalone MTA, if that is the case, this is good news. If not, can someone point me to links that would help me with this install. I just barely know postfix, and this is all going to happen on OS X 10.3 client, so hopefully someone who has been through this can help and point me to some links that will get me going.
