Your EST is +1100 (as opposed to mine, which is -0500). The timestamp @40000000423abce8189d6a1c is 2005-03-18 11:34:54 UTC, which is 2005-03-18 22:34:54 your time, so it looks like the time is right. You're just assuming it's local time when it's really UTC.
