Yep, like Steven said, greylisting has to kick in at the MTA level before SA even gets invoked. So it depends on which MTA you are using. For Sendmail, Milter-Greylist is a good one, I'm using it. I'd safely say that greylisting has reduced our inbound spam by at least 90%. Of the remaining 10% that makes it in, SA filters out about 97%-98% of it.
Be careful about the length of time that you auto-whitelist the senders, I believe that the table is stored in memory, someone chime in if I'm wrong, so if you're going to keep the entries for 60 days, you could potentially need a whole bunch of memory.
Also, if you're running sendmail 8.13 or above, look into the pre-greeting pause to eliminate some more spam before it even hits greylisting.
