Exactly right, and this is one of the reasons that I do indeed accept the
mail, and I have even made this same argument myself many times when the
subject comes up.

OTOH, none of the RFCs say anything about (and have no jurisdiction over)
whatever weighting I might assign such events locally.

That's the canonical reason for why I want to do most of these tests to SA
in the first place.
