Possibly you are missing the dot in front of the SA directory name? Usually, the SA directory will be ".spamassassin"

Does /var/spool/MailScanner/spamassassin/bayes/auto-whitelist exist? The "No such file or directory" message would imply a nonexistant file or a typoed name.
