I was chatting with a fellow who was a volunteer fireman at one of the local firehouses. he said they got over $10k/month to host a massive tower. and it was *massive*...
Verizon is the only cell that picks up at my house, so that's what I have to use. I was with Sprint since the week they started selling "Sprint Spectrum" (a GSM based service) in DC area about 9 or 10 years ago, and went to verizon last year when portability became reality. Same number all this time... :-)
