Why couldn't you simply install another perfectly running copy of SA on server A, and let the users on that machine call spamc directly on that machine?
I'd prefer the one copy so I can maintain the one ruleset, Bayesian database, AWL etc.
spamd runs on server A. Server B just has spamc installed -- it doesn't need the full Mail::SpamAssassin install. Server A's spamc connects to spamd on localhost, server B's spamc connects to spamd on server A. All rulesets, Bayes, AWL, etc. stay on server A.
