I happen to like the SBL and XBL. Both as SMTP blocks and as Spam Assassin checks.
In SA, I tend to set all other RBL's to scores of 0 (to skip them), and set the SBL and XBL to 10 each (I trust them that much).
I'm also a big fan of the sendmail greet-delay feature. I recommend about 15 seconds (to avoid a problem with verizon), but I myself use 30 seconds.
