Since installing SA 3.0.0 and getting a number of the problem listed below, I've had to increase the number of daemon children to 12, and it's caused problems to go down.

Still, "grep Draining /var/log/messages | wc -l" is still reporting a slow increase. Here's the last one:

It's become pretty clear that when this happens, the message is allowed to slip past SpamAssassin.

Does anyone have any idea how to increase the "timeout" (to something like ten minutes), or is this more a problem of STILL not enough daemon children?
