I'm not here to belabor the subject line topic. Just wanted to clear up some apparent confusion. Outlook (not sure about Outlook Express) CAN filter messages based on arbitrary elements of the header. If you go through the rules wizard, there is a rule to sort on whatever string(s) you want to look for in the header. I'm using it to presort messages from the list out of my inbox into a separate SA list folder. I thought it was pretty straight forward but if anyone out there REALLY can't figure it out and wants to know how, feel free to reply to me off-list. -joe k.
