Error: Current core has 1206 fields, exceeding the max-fields limit of 1000

Hi all,

can someone explain how I can raise the limit on a Solr 9.8.1 collection/core.
I've found some snippets via Google but could find the right API endpoint to 
raise the limit for a core/collection.

Hints very welcome.
