Have a look at the documentation - search for
"updateSambaNTLMPasswords". That feature is generally for Samba 3.

account password Samba 4 DC?
The normal password change code in SOGo should work just fine with Samba
4 if it advertises the 1.2.840.113556.1.4.800 capability. Alternatively,
the password policy support in SOGo should also work well with Samba 4 -
but it was tested (at least, by us) with OpenLDAP and 389DS.
