Good morning:

I am a user of Open Office 4.1.13. I have prepared a book over several
years. I want to attach an Index to it which I developed separately and is
in two columns. Of course, I also want the page numbering to automatically
continue to the end of the book.

Issue: Every time I try to merge the two documents the entire document
converts to two columns and the index title header ends up at the top of
every page throughout the book. I cannot seem to find any help online to
resolve this issue and I am at my wits end. This is why I am writing to you
in desperation. Any help you can provide to me will be greatly
appreciated.  By the way, I am not particularly computer savvy.
