Apache WordPad

​Good Afternoon, can you please help me?
Several years ago I purchased Apache Wordpad and have used it constantly. Now I 
am changing my PC from Windows 8 to Windows 10 and my local IT technician said 
that to transfer Wordpad from one PC to the other would need a password - if so 
then where do I get this please?
