Open Office

I recently deleted and reinstalled my Open Office program because it kept 
crashing on me resulting in a two hour project lasting five and six hours.
The problem has not been resolved,  it has crashed at least six times tonight 
meaning I have only gotten one article written instead of the two or three that 
I should have completed.
I depend on the program to create my work, not have it constantly crash and 
erased!
