You stated "Not directly", which is a blatant falsehood. AOO does open .docx files directly.
Occasionally some people have problems. One poster on this thread stated about 1 in 300 files
didn't open. I have never had a problem.
In other words AOO does directly open .docx files, contrary to your fallacious
statement.
