1: from the address you sued to subscribe originally send a blank e-mail
to users-unsubscr...@openoffice.apache.org. This will generate a
follow-up e-mail to you. If you do not see the follow-up mail check spam
folder.
2: follow the directions in the follow-up e-mail.
3: you will receive a final e-mail saying you have successfully
unsubscribed.

As a last resort if the above process does not work send an e-mail to
user-ow...@openoffice.apache.org explaining the problem and requesting help.
