Did you uninstall LibreOffice before > installing OpenOffice? > Yes, I did, and then I installed LibreOffice with their DEBS. I tested the same thing in LibreOffice 4.2.6.3 (I installed it a long time ago…), without a crash. However, when working with a particular document, which was converted from an XLS file, containing some MS fonts like Arial Narrow that my current system lacks, I can't edit existing styles. If I right click one and select Edit, nothing happens (in neither Apache OpenOffice nor LibreOffice). If I create a new spreadsheet, I can edit styles. Maybe something wrong with some of my files then… I'll install the latest stable LibreOffice and see what happens. Still, the original problem happens after a fresh start of the operating system and Apache OpenOffice with a ”new file”, so everything doesn't seem to be my file's fault… Kind regards Johnny Rosenberg > kind regards, Matthias > > > > Am 03.01.2016 um 16:33 schrieb Johnny Rosenberg: > >> Apache OpenOffice 4.1.2 installed with the DEB files downloaded from >> http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html.
