Yes, this can happen after updates to Windows 10 Home edition.

>From the desktop, click the Windows key to get to the start display.

On the start display, click the three horizontal lines (menu symbol) in the 
upper left corner.  You should see a sidebar that has a "Settings" symbol just 
above the power symbol at the bottom of the sidebar

On the settings display, click the Accounts item.  On the "Your Account" entry 
of the Accounts display, there may be a need to authenticate your account.  Do 
that.

See if that cures the problem.

Let us know how it goes either way or you have troubles with the procedure and
