If you are using Internet Explorer to download the dictionary (probably an .oxt 
file), note that Internet Explorer silently renames .oxt files to .zip. Outside 
of OpenOffice you should simply rename the dictionary.zip file to 
dictionary.oxt; then double clicking on it will install it automatically.

You may still have to adjust your language settings to use that dictionary, 
depending on your setup.
