Users of Windows are less likely to look at help files than users of Mac OS X, and users of Linux are more likely to look at help files. I'll grant that that data is a decade old, and that help-file habits for desktop usage might have changed since then. However, I'd hypothesize that any change is towards what happens on mobile devices --- the user goes straight to Google. jonathon
