I still have a great fondness for Word Perfect. The "Reveal Codes"

I totally agree - Reveal Codes was a superb and valuable feature that SHOULD
have been incorporated into OO.
Why should it have been incorporated into OO? If it is so valuable, why is Word Perfect not any more popular with the general public? Obviously, you prefer Word Perfect. The structure of a Word Perfect created document is different from one created by AOO. WP seems to have been created around reveal codes; AOO is created around XML.
